Sandpatch – Albany Western Australia
Paul Pichugin was with me when I took this image last Sunday.
You can just make out the Albany Windfarm in the distance on top of the high cliff. My camera, lens and Lee filters got hammered with salt spray….”If only I had a smaller camera body with built in filters, prime lenses and an awesome weather proof/dust proof body and lens” hehehe…..I’ll keep you guessing on that one……not long now…..watch this space!
Later on I will post an image of me taking this photo (an image that Paul took shooting with our combined Canon 800mm!)

Surf and Sun
Geraldton
This is another image I took when I went out for a sunset shoot near the Greenough River Mouth with Wade, Shawn, Mel & Zoe. To this day the smell of rotting seaweed still makes me want to be sick! I almost threw up when I stepped out of the car. With a blocked nose and on the verge of vommiting I managed to pull off this shot. It made it worth it!
I wanted to capture the movement of the water and the afterglow of the sunset. Pity there was no clouds that day. I think I’m going to brave it again and get back out to this beautiful location.
Enjoy.
I’m still here too!
Wow! I’m still here too!
Thought I better post one up in between renovating the back yard, living it up in the Hunter Valley, portraits, Fujifilm (taking most of my time these days) and the family!
Shot on the Canon EOS ID MK III somewhere in Geraldton….I forget where….Shawn where was it again that we went?

Sunrise at Harrocks
Horrocks Beach
About two weeks ago I went to Geraldton for work. On saturday morning I managed to get myself up at 4am for the sunrise to go and take photos out at Horrocks Beach with Shawn and Zoe.
Shot this image with my trousers rolled up and tripod legs submerged in the water. I have a few more to go through so stay tuned.
Make sure you check out Shawn’s and Zoe’s blogs. They both have some amazing images.
Greens Pool, Denmark WA
I shot this one with David Sobik last weekend at Greens Pool. The sun was producing some interesting light due to the smoke from a bush fire.
I’m not quite sure on this one so I have put it on the blog to get some thoughts….
