Black Winged Stilt

Burchell’s Zebra

A quick break from wedding photography….

Here is another black and white photograph to add to my African series. Enjoy.

The Lily Pond

Albany

I went out to Sharp Point near Albany to capture the sunset with Andrew Halsall, David Sobik and his mate Steven Hurley yesterday afternoon.

Albany was full of smoke from some very inconsiderate people burning off. Sort of spoiled the grand day Albany was having….

Having just got back to Perth in the wee hours of the morning….this was the result from yesterday afternoon.  Enjoy

Dunes

Sand dunes at first light. These spectacular dunes are situated along the Indian Ocean Drive in Western Australia.

I pass these dunes every six weeks so you should see a few more images like this!

Lilac Breasted Roller

Little Beach Ocean Motion

This was a six image stitch blended with PTGui.  Shot with my Canon 17-40mm f4 and Manfrotto 303SPH. Andrew Halsall was standing right next to me when I took this…talk about pressure to get it right!

If you use PTGui there are a few little hints that I will share with you at a later stage (when I have some spare time).

So until next time

Happy Shooting

Crab

Something about this image grabs my attention. I think it is the clear blue water in the background.  I was keen to get out and about and try my new 400mm f5.6 L lens. I’m planning to take this lens to Africa – September next year. Can’t wait!

Impala – The rest of the herd

With these images I wanted to get really close rather than show a whole herd of Impala. Sort of like animal portraits.

Let me know your thoughts of these 5 images. Which one do you like the most?

Until next time….

Happy Shooting!

Impala

Here is the start of some more wildlife images from Africa.

You should see a herd of Impala developing on the blog (Saturday)….I have so many shots!

Enjoy

Stirling Ranges National Park

Bring on the wet weather and Lee ND Filters!

Stirling Ranges Waterfall

A big thank you goes out to Stu McCracken and Andrew Halsall for their leaf collecting and placement in this shot. Without their help this shot wouldn’t have been possible.
An update on the massive Stirling pano that I am constructing (mentioned in the last post)…..It has kind of come to a halt. My computer keeps telling me that there is not enough RAM!
