This photo is straight out of the camera that still manages to blow my mind – the Fujifilm X-Pro 1

I waited until a cars headlights lit the wall before I hit the shutter. Photographed in Fremantle, Western Australia

I have only added a hint of sharpness and a slight vignette. Enjoy.

I’m back!

It has been quite a while since my last post on the blog. To all the fans sorry for the wait. My eyes have been playing up since last week which has lead to limited time on the computer.

This image was taken using my 10mm fisheye lens. A total of four images were stacked to achieve the result you see below. Enjoy

Leighton Beach

Here is another photo taken on my trusty Velbon Sherpa Pro monopod at the recent photo shoot at Leighton Beach, Western Australia.

Enjoy.

The View from Leighton Beach

The sunset was striking yesterday as I pointed my lens towards Rottnest Island, Western Australia. This photo was taken just as the sun disappeared over the horizon.

Leighton Beach

Went out to capture the sunset today with Jamie Paterson and Paul Pichugin.

This image was straight out of the camera with some sharpness added and a hint of saturation. Taken on my monopod for a total of 6 seconds. Impressive!

Until next time.

Happy Shooting.

The Journey – Lake Ballard

My goodness has it been that long since I last posted something??

I have titled this image “The Journey” as it seems to reflect my life at the moment.

I hope you find as much inspiration from this image as I do. I wanted to create an image that grabs the attention of the viewer. Hopefully after saying “What the heck is that?” people walk up to the image and look at the picture within the picture and the fine detail that makes up this masterpiece. (insert vomit here)  Isn’t that Art?? Let me know….

Trying to take a different photo of a over-photographed object = difficult!

Let me know what you think of this photo. I’m not 100% sure I like it.
