I waited until a cars headlights lit the wall before I hit the shutter. Photographed in Fremantle, Western Australia
I have only added a hint of sharpness and a slight vignette. Enjoy.

I can’t wait until the Adobe Labs brings out the RAW update for the X Pro 1. The image quality from the jpeg file is amazing imagine what the RAW file will be like! I took this just before sunrise. Enjoy.

Here is another photo taken on my trusty Velbon Sherpa Pro monopod at the recent photo shoot at Leighton Beach, Western Australia.

The sunset was striking yesterday as I pointed my lens towards Rottnest Island, Western Australia. This photo was taken just as the sun disappeared over the horizon.
Went out to capture the sunset today with Jamie Paterson and Paul Pichugin.
This image was straight out of the camera with some sharpness added and a hint of saturation. Taken on my monopod for a total of 6 seconds. Impressive!

A quick break from editing wedding images….
This image was taken last monday on my way home from Albany.

With the out of control fire near Denmark at the moment I was lucky to get a blue sky. I thought I would change the perspective and shoot this beautiful location from the other side of the beach.
My goodness has it been that long since I last posted something??
I have titled this image “The Journey” as it seems to reflect my life at the moment.
I hope you find as much inspiration from this image as I do. I wanted to create an image that grabs the attention of the viewer. Hopefully after saying “What the heck is that?” people walk up to the image and look at the picture within the picture and the fine detail that makes up this masterpiece. (insert vomit here) Isn’t that Art?? Let me know….
Trying to take a different photo of a over-photographed object = difficult!
