REMEMBER TO SHARE THE LOVE
I’m currently on holidays travelling the south of Western Australia so I can bring you more free photos. I’ll be back soon.
Be sure to check out some of the very talented photographers on my blogroll in my absence. Scroll down and see the list on the right hand side.
See you all soon.
Today I managed to get out and photograph some beautiful wildflowers at Kings Park located just a stones throw from Perth City. Armed with the Olympus OM-D E-M5 and 12-50mm lens coupled with the Canon EOS 1D MK IV and Canon MPE-65 lens I set myself a challange to photograph the same flower in four different ways.
Here are the results:
Until next time – Happy Shooting
Western Australia is full of beauty in unexpected places.
Its amazing just how much a location can change given some time. When last I visited this location over one year ago I published the photo – Rubble and Ruin. Check out the difference between the previous photo and this one. You will be amazed.
This photo is a great reminder no matter where the location is it’s always going to be different each time you visit it. You will always come away with different shots just like this one. I’m just glad I had the new Olympus OM-D E-M5 to test out. I wanted to see what the output quality was so the camera was set to shoot in jpeg. What do you think? Is the quality alright?
Until next time – Happy Shooting.
I’m was so happy to come across this solitary mammal a few days ago. The colour of the Australian bush reflected in its spines, lighting up the shot.
I couldn’t help but focus on the eye at f1.2 (to the non photographers out there f1.2 means there is a shallow depth of field…ie not much in focus) when I saw the Echidna looking back at me. So cute!

A quick update for you all.
PayPal is currently reviewing my business account so at this time gift certificates purchased through the Leigh Diprose Gallery can’t be purchased online. Donations have also been affected.
PayPal have assured me for a quick turnaround with the review of my account. I expect the outage to last around 1 or 2 weeks.
In the meantime if you wish to purchase a gift certificate or contribute a donation please contact me directly through email (leighdiprosephotography@yahoo.com.au) and I can offer an alternative solution whilst my account is being reviewed.
Thank you to everyone who has offered financial support so far either by purchasing a gift certificate, providing a donation or purchasing a photograph. It truly helps me provide more free photos for you all. In case you missed the news any wildlife or landscape photo I take next year I plan on providing the photo free to the public. All of these photographs will be Royalty Free with no copyright attached so you can download and use the photos for whatever you like. Currently I am providing two free photos a month however next year I plan to release at least 300 free fine art images for you all.
If you would like to find out why I am doing this then please follow the link to the previous post – “The Meaning Of Free”
